CONCEPT
The 24th Annual Women’s and Gender Studies Symposium is a day-long event that features a presentation of student work and highlights the research of Qwo-Li Driskill. This poster took inspiration from the Three Sisters crop growing method. Each of the crops contribute something to the planting that the other two need. The Three Sisters flourishing and growing with one another are a representation of the ideals of this symposium. Together, the three parts of the symposium (the Women’s and Gender Studies Program, the student presenters, and Professor Qwo-Li Driskill) weave together and thrive as they create this event for the community.
