CONCEPT
With the sun rising over the mountains, which also double as side profiles of faces, we signify diversity and inclusion.
Each pattern evokes new meanings in thought and action. The grid represents the current political environment and systemic oppression. The feathers symbolize inspiration through mind and spirit. The abstracted pattern of the lotus, eight spoke wheel, and sparks of light showcase the three objectives of CRCC's mission to enlighten, educate, and ignite conversation and action. Orange and blue were chosen to show contrast and diverse viewpoints. Since they are complimentary colors, they work well together, orange evokes enthusiasm and determination, while blue symbolizes justice and knowledge. Finally, emphasizing the verticality of the poster signifies growth and nurturing that attendees will have received after attending the conference.
